Monday, May 19th
BARCELONA

Overnight: Barcelona 5 ★ Hotel

Your journey begins in Barcelona with a panoramic tour of this magnificent city, renowned for its striking architecture and vibrant history. You’ll marvel at landmarks like Montjuic and the Mirador, which offer some of the most stunning views over the city.

The tour continues with a visit to Park Guell, the colorful masterpiece of Gaudi. A walking tour of Barcelona’s old Jewish quarter will give you a deep insight into the Jewish heritage of the city. We will visit the house of the renowned scholar Rabbi Shlomo ibn Aderet (Rashba) and the ancient synagogue, the oldest in Europe.

A memorable day filled with cultural and historical discovery will end with a kosher dinner at a local restaurant.

DAY 3

Wednesday, May 21st – Barcelona to Madrid
BARCELONA – MADRID

This morning, enjoy some free time to explore Barcelona at your own pace.

Later, we’ll board a fast train to Madrid, where you’ll settle into your luxurious hotel and prepare for an evening of relaxation.

Dinner will be at a kosher restaurant in Madrid.

DAY 5

Friday, May 23rd
TOLEDO

A short drive will take us to Toledo, often referred to as the “Jerusalem of the West,” a center of Sephardic Jewry in the Middle Ages.

Explore the old Juderia (Jewish quarter), including visits to El-Transito synagogue and the Shmuel Halevy Mudejar Synagogue.

In the evening, we will prepare for Kabbalat Shabbat at the local synagogue, followed by a Shabbat dinner.

DAY 7

Sunday, May 25th
AVILA, BELMONTE

We begin our journey to Portugal with a stop in Ávila, famous for its well-preserved medieval walls and the recently discovered Jewish cemetery.

Then, we continue to Belmonte, Portugal, where we’ll meet the last remaining community of conversos, who practiced their Jewish faith in secret for over 500 years.

We’ll visit the synagogue and Jewish Museum before enjoying dinner at our hotel.

DAY 9

Tuesday, May 27th
PORTO, OBIDOS AND LISBON

In the morning, we’ll visit the Kaduri Synagogue and the Jewish community center of Porto.

Then, we head to the picturesque medieval town of Óbidos for a walk along its ancient walls.

Continuing to Lisbon, we’ll explore the city on a Tuk Tuk tour before dinner at our hotel.

DAY 10

Wednesday, May 28th
SINTRA AND LISBON

After breakfast, we’ll drive to the beautiful town of Sintra and visit the magnificent Palácio da Pena.

Then, we head to Cascais, a cosmopolitan port village, followed by a visit to the historic Belem district.

Dinner will be at our hotel in Lisbon.

DAY 11

Thursday, May 29th
DEPARTURE

After breakfast, we will provide transfers to Lisbon Airport according to your flight schedule, marking the end of this incredible journey through Spain and Portugal.
